Fable 106 - The Kid on the Roof of the House, and the Wolf

A kid who had wandered on the roof of a house saw a wolf pass by and he began to insult and jeer at it.
The wolf replied:
‘Hey, you there! It’s not you who mock me but the place on which you are standing.’

This fable shows that often it is the place and occasion which give one the daring to defy the powerful.
