Fable 47 - The Coward and the Ravens

A cowardly man set out to go to war. But, having heard the croak of some ravens, he lay down his arms and froze stock still.
After a while he picked up his arms and again began to march. But the ravens croaked again. He stopped and then he said to them:
‘You can croak as loud as you like, but you aren’t going to make a meal of me.’

This fable aims at those who are excessively timid.
